Boone County Community Mourns the Tragic Loss of Jason K. Acup Following Fatal Collision
The Boone County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jason K. Acup, 49, of Sharon, Wisconsin, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal head-on collision on Thursday, March 5, 2026. According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred near 7575 Manchester Road, when Jason was driving a 2008 Mercedes eastbound. For reasons still under investigation, his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a westbound 2022 Kia. Emergency crews, including Boone County District #3 Fire, Sharon Fire, and MD-1, responded quickly to the scene in an effort to save those involved. Tragically, Jason Acup was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the Kia was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
