Eyewitnesses stated that after the collision, Christian lost control, causing his motorcycle to leave the roadway and descend an earth embankment. Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained critical injuries. He was promptly transported by Wayne County EMS to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and subsequently transferred to University of Kentucky Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Thankfully, Ms. Smith and her passenger were unharmed in the incident. The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to piece together the full circumstances.
