Three officers — Officer Joel Rodriguez, a two-year veteran; Officer Cody Bostic, a six-year veteran; and PFC Joseph Riebau, a 10-year veteran — discharged their weapons. Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene, with a knife recovered nearby.
