15-Year-Old Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree in Oak Lawn
OAK LAWN, Ill. — A 15-year-old boy was killed early Monday morning after the car he was in crashed into a tree in south suburban Oak Lawn, authorities say.
According to the Oak Lawn Police Department, a vehicle carrying three juveniles struck a tree in the 9200 block of 50th Street. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased as 15-year-old Jayden Magdaleno. Authorities have not released additional details at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The Oak Lawn community is shaken by this tragic incident, and officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
