First responders raced to provide lifesaving aid with urgency and hope, yet despite their tireless efforts, both boys were pronounced deceased at the scene. 

As investigators secured the area and began piecing together what transpired, another alarming moment unfolded: an individual armed with a firearm approached the scene. Authorities have since clarified that it remains unclear whether that person was connected to the shooting, deepening the pain and uncertainty surrounding an already devastating situation. Mental health resources, community outreach, and law enforcement support have since been mobilized to assist those traumatized by the events.
