In Loving Memory of Tango “TG” — Remembering a Vibrant Life Lost Too Soon in Wilmington
With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Tango, affectionately known as TG, a 29-year-old man from New Castle, whose life was tragically cut short on Friday afternoon in Wilmington. Though his time on this earth was far too brief, the impact he made on the lives of those around him will forever endure.
According to the Delaware State Police, the fatal crash occurred on February 27, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tango was riding his Harley-Davidson northbound on DuPont Highway (US 13), approaching the intersection with Millside Drive. At the same time, a Lexus UX was stopped behind a Mitsubishi Mirage in the left-turn lane.
For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle collided with the rear of the Lexus. The force of the impact ejected Tango from his Harley-Davidson, and the Lexus was pushed forward into the Mitsubishi. Emergency responders arrived swiftly and transported him to a nearby hospital. Despite every life-saving effort, Tango sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The roadway was closed for approximately three hours while the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit conducted a thorough preliminary investigation. The crash remains under review as authorities work diligently to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to contact Master Corporal R. Kunicki at (302) 365-8417.
Yet beyond the tragic details of that afternoon, it is essential to remember who Tango truly was — not just the circumstances of his passing, but the life he lived and the spirit he shared with the world.
Tango, or TG as he was lovingly called by friends and family, was a man full of energy, passion, and kindness. His presence brought joy, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie wherever he went. He carried a vibrant personality, a loyal heart, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. Friends remember him as dependable and caring, always ready to lend a hand or offer encouragement when it was needed most.
Riding his Harley-Davidson was more than a hobby for Tango — it was a reflection of his free spirit, his love for adventure, and his desire to experience life fully. Those who shared the road with him knew his enthusiasm, his confidence, and the joy he found in every journey. But whether on two wheels or in everyday life, Tango’s impact was felt in countless personal ways — through conversations, laughter, and the genuine connections he nurtured.
Tango’s loss leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. His warmth, humor, and compassionate nature will be sorely missed. Yet, the memories he created, the love he shared, and the lives he touched will forever carry his spirit forward.
In remembering TG, we honor a life lived with authenticity, joy, and courage. Though his journey ended far too soon, his legacy will remain in the stories told, the laughter remembered, and the hearts forever shaped by his presence. May his family find comfort in the love surrounding them, and may Tango rest in eternal peace, forever riding free in the memories and hearts of those who cherished him.
