With hearts shattered by grief, we remember and honor the lives of 31-year-old Brittany Williams and her beloved 8-year-old daughter, who were tragically taken on Saturday morning in Theodore, a community in Mobile.
The devastating collision occurred near Cary Hamilton Road in Theodore when their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train traveling toward Mobile. Emergency crews, including the Mobile Police Department and local firefighters, responded shortly before 7 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle heavily damaged from the impact. Brittany and her young daughter were both pronounced dead at the scene.
While officials confirmed that no passengers or crew members aboard the train were injured, the loss suffered by Brittany’s family and the Theodore community is immeasurable.
Today, we focus not solely on the tragic circumstances, but on the lives and love shared between a mother and her child.
Brittany Williams was more than a name in a report — she was a mother whose world revolved around her daughter.
